Strong Connection

Posted by
Barbara Kile (Ft. Worth, United States) on 9 August 2009 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

A selective focus 'themed' shot taken recently and, although quite a departure for me, I always look for the elements of design: line, pattern, texture, etc. The month's VFXY theme is 'Big or Strong' so thought it would be fun to submit this. Visit and click on the image to vote!
Click on VFXY link below, then 'themes' and click on the image, which I guess is a vote?

Great sharpness and composition. I especially like the use of light creating a high contrast in the image and "colours". Excellent!

Barbara - this is great! I like that your selective focus is "in focus" for my eyes coming into the bottom of the photograph and through the center and then goes "out of focus" nearer the top. Awesome work! The black with the silver is perfect also.
