Bright and SUNny Flowers

Posted by
Barbara Kile (Ft. Worth, United States) on 9 September 2009 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

These sunflowers were combined with textures by Boccacino.
And by Eddi07 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/spiritual_marketplace/)

Then, for an impressionistic painting look, I applied the watercolor filter in Topaz Simplify. The settings here really brightened up the flowers and gave the effect I wanted.

Very well done Barbara! I really like the paint-like effect, it looks like a painting on a wood or like a mural. Great colours and overall feel.

Fantastic work on this Barbara! I always like this look and it is very vibrant with the colors - glowing and warm! Very nice work with the textures! For some reason on your comments on my blog your link is not showing up with your name on the last two comments. I am not sure why? Take Care!
