Ron from Saint Louis, United States

Beautifully realized, Barbara ... the tones are exquisite! Are you really able to shoot in-camera multiple exposures ... or are these multiple shots layered on top of one another? I was just [Sunday afternoon] reading one of Tony Sweet's books explaining this method ... can't wait to try it myself ... ron

13 Oct 2009 12:44pm

@Ron: Yes, in camera. I wouldn't go to all the work to do it in PS! Nikon and Pentax cameras can both do them in camera and it's really fun to pan and shoot with tree trunks, flowers, etc. I know Tony - keep reading his books - great stuff! Thanks so much!

Barbara from Oakland, United States

Wow! My D90 will do 3 in camera multiples, I wonder how many the D300 will do? I bet more. I need to try this more. I have been using multiple exposures to slow down water. It does a nice job of blending the flowing fall or stream into a smoother look. So, you can get that look without having to open up the F stop or slow shutter down too much. I just love the colors here.

Paintings alike - Floral patterns give autumn a romantic twist (would make a cool fabric print)!
