Iris Triptych

Posted by
Barbara Kile (Ft. Worth, United States) on 8 February 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I took several views of the lovely curves of this iris and decided to just combine several into a composite or triptych. This also includes the painted version from my previous post.

WELCOME and thanks for visiting!

Tomas Turecek from Czech Republic

Lovely colours in these. I have 2 things on my mind: 1) I think that if all images were with the same treatment it would look better as whole 2) every image of these is so "strong" that it would be better to keep them separately or at least have more space between them so viewer's eye could focus on every image separately.

8 Feb 2010 6:06pm

@Tomas Turecek: Thanks, Tomas, but it's not a permanent collage, just for posting here. I thought it would be redundant to post each image separately and viewers would be bored. :-)

Bosk from Houston, United States

The curves of these compliment each other so well and make a wonderful triptych. Each one can stand alone strongly, but I think that together they look like a beautiful song!

a splendid triptych showcasing the beautiful lines & colour gradations of the iris.....would make a lovely poster singularly (3 in 1) or separately but in juxtaposition....well done
