Apart from the Crowd

Posted by
Barbara Kile (Ft. Worth, United States) on 18 July 2011 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

Well, this image is a result of 'just messin' around.' I took the image (is this just a daisy or something else?) into ColorEfex Pro and applied Polaroid Transfer, which applied the 'smear' and gave it a light green background. Then, I applied a Flypaper texture, followed by Alien Skin Snapart at 50% opacity. Different, but kind of fun!

Beautiful work. Your choices for development turned out superbly.
Looks like you dipped into box oil pastels. Very artful. I love the result (and the title).

This is beautiful, reminds me of when I was a kid, putting a flower in a book to press
and dry it out, similar and beautiful art you have created.
